I'm taking off my supporter's hat and putting down the camera in order to join 'Marathon Man' in the Bristol Half Marathon this September. (My very own personal trainer... cool!)

We’re raising money for a cause close to our hearts; MS Research. Dad was diagnosed with MS several years ago and we have seen how it has affected him and his day to day life. He's been a rock in our lives and has also raised money for MS charities despite his symptoms, including a cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats (crazy, huh?!). His enthusiasm for life and his constant urge to give to others has spurred us on to enter this race and we hope that it our fundraising will help him and others like him in the future.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a condition that doesn’t give those with the disease a day off. MS affects young adults and sometimes children. It is the most common cause of disability in young people and once diagnosed will affect the rest of a person’s life. This means an adult life-time of battling against symptoms like muscle weakness often with loss of mobility, fatigue, tremor, bladder and bowel problems, sensory problems, difficulty walking and visual impairment. MS affects one person in 100,000.
