<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Hi,</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page raising money in memory of <strong>Rich and Scott</strong>.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">As you know Michelle and I are bound in love, friendship, marriage and the gift of our two wonderful children, Charlotte and James.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">What you may not have known, is that we are also bound in the tragic loss of both our brothers to Drug addiction.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Shell's brother Scott in 2000 aged 28 and Rich in 2008 aged 33.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Both were intelligent young boys that went off the rails while still at School, perhaps bored or simply unable to connect with teachers and the system.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">They both fought with addiction from a young age and as a result so did our families.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">In his late 20's, Rich became desperate to rebuild his life and relationships and with the support of a charity such as addaction was able to become totally clean for over 3 years. In this time he couldn't have made our family prouder. Indeed, for me, we felt as close after &nbsp; 20 years as we did in the image on my profile above. Catastrophically, he tried to rebuild too quickly and as is often the case with such fragile recoveries, lapse took him from us when we least expected it.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">I am running the London Marathon in April for Rich and Scott but also our Mother's and families that live with their memories every day.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">I often think of Rich as I run through the neighbourhood where we grew up. To run a little longer and help other families stay together is an honour.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Thank you so much for anything you can give, my target is &pound;1500 but I'd love to go beyond......
