First of all many thanks for viewing my justgiving page! As you may know I have decided to participate in a challenging fundraising event with a friend of mine to raise money for Cancer Research UK and Leukaemia Research UK. You may also know that i am not the young, fit and athletic individual i once was so this is seriously going to challenge me! 

As alot of you know Leukaemia and Brain tumors have fit my family and extended family in the past 18 months. Fundraising for these two charities will contribute towards care and cure to eventually bring an end to these diseases. My partner in crime is also raising money, doing the same event, for Cancer Research. 

We've set a team target of £2,000 so my personal goal is to hit £1,000 and I have every confidence that I can do it with your support.

The Mens Health 'Survival of the Fittest' is a tri-nations 10k race held in Edinburgh, Cardiff and Nottingham over 3 consequtive weekends in October. Each host city has its own formidable 10k race track to overcome with varying obstacles every 1km to test speed, agility, strength and endurance....now you know why we need your donations to motivate us!
