HIPZ is a small charity with big plans to improve healthcare for everyone in Zanzibar. Our programmes improve hospitals and health services that are used by 1.8 million people. From maternal and child health to emergency medicine and mental health, we deliver long-lasting, locally led change.

Story

Thanks for taking a look at my page. Many of you will have supported me last year when I cycled around Zanzibar. I raised over £5000 for the Makunduchi Project (www.makunduchiproject.com).

In September I am cycling from London to Paris over 3 days - approximately 100km per day - to again raise money for Makunduchi Hospital. With the money we raised last year we have started maternity services,  an ambulance pick up service from the surrounding villages for women in labour, renovated the operating theatres and wards, and much more. We are looking to extend our paediatric service, start a major project to reduce strokes and continue the work we have started.

This is a small charity and any money raised goes a very long way - I am paying all my costs, so your money will make a huge difference. Thank you in advance for any donation you can make.
