I started running again last year whilst keeping a close friend company on his training runs for the London Marathon. After seeing him achieve such a big goal when he completed it in a very respectable time, it dawned on me, that I too should give a little back. I have therefore set myself the challenge to run it this year before age catches up with me.

I couldn't think of supporting a better local charity than Havens Hospices. Incorporating Fair Havens and Little Havens they provide specialist respite breaks, symptom control and end-of-life care for adults and children with life-limiting illnesses or conditions. It is a truly humbling experience in seeing how much great work is carried out. 

Due to the everyday pressures we all endure I intend to run a marathon only the once, so please help me raise as much money this time as possible!!!!!!
