Story

Hello, and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Planning to run the London Marathon is about as far removed from my normal life as it is possible to get. I'm not a natural runner and I know that I have a long way to go to get to a place where I will be able to complete this challenge. However, with the support of my wonderful family, my company - Reckitt Benckiser - and of course all you guys, I know that I can do this!

I am doing this for three main reasons.

1. To hopefully raise a whole heap of money for Save the Children!
2. To change my lifestyle and get fit
3. To do something that my kids can look back on with pride at what their dad has achieved.

Save the Children is a wonderful charity that helps disadvantaged kids all over the world have a better life. I am incredibly proud to be taking on this challenge in their name and with your help, I hope to exceed my fundraising target and really help them make a difference.

I have started a blog - RBDreamMarathonRun.Blogspot.com where you can read more about me and why I am doing this. You can track my progress and what activities I am doing, and it would be really nice if you could leave me some messages of support to help keep me motivated!

Thanks for reading and please dig deep and donate now!

Kind Regards,
Jon.
