Story
It began in April. At 3am on the 9th, to be precise. A bus down to Busigny before cycling 172km back to Roubaix. Over cobbles. Lots of cobbles.
Once we've recovered, we'll be back on the bikes, preparing for the Dragon ride. 225km through the Breacon beacons, taking on some staggering and leg shattering climbs.
To round it all off, we'll take in the finest hills that Surrey has to offer in the Ride 100, 165km of glorious English countryside to cap of an incredible 557km of both beauty and intense suffering.
We are the lucky ones, though, as our suffering is mild, and taken by choice. The children Unicef supports do not have the privilege of enjoying the beauty of their surroundings in their deep suffering, and nor do they have the privilege of their suffering coming to an end when they choose.
Please support me in raising a small sum that will go a long way to transforming the hopes and dreams of some of the most vulnerable little individuals in the world.
