Yes, I know I should be taking the regular flight back to the UK but I fancy going the wrong way! On my bike ... North

 

I'll keep it short - I'm setting off on the 2nd March 2014 on my sturdy mountain bike (Not a tourer!) from Cyprus to the UK including the River Danube valley where there is an excellent bike trail through Europe .... Just over 2500 miles of pure pleasure with lots of wild camping (hold back on the jokes) and a few hostels .....

Obviously I am planning to enjoy my little adventure (My view might change after two days in the saddle) but if I can also raise a little for a charity that means SOooo much to my special sister Sarah-Jane then it's an added bonus.

I have upped my fundraising target after contact from Brain Tumour Research as I would love to try and raise the amount it costs for one full day of research. I know it's a mammoth task but with your help hopefully I can get close!

My sister puts on a brave face as modest as ever, but close friends and family know exactly what she has been through and how hard she is fighting. Keep up the battle Sez xxx

Any amount you can spare to contribute to this much needed research would be lovingly appreciated. Even if it's the price of a pint! I know most of my friends would probably struggle to give up a pint but every pound raised will make me more determined to succeed .... And think of the pain you will be inflicting on my poor body :)
