On the 1st June 2011, 12 teachers from Kennet School in Thatcham are attempting the '3 Peak Challenge'. The aim is to climb the three highest mountains in Britain (Snowdon, Scafell Pike, and Ben Nevis) in under 24 hours!!

We are raising money for 'Swings and Smiles', a comprehensive recreational facility in West Berkshire for all families who have special needs children. The charity aim to provide an environment where people with special needs and their carers, siblings or the whole family can play together without the pressures often experienced in wider community settings.

Any donations to this worthy cause will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!
