Money to a good cause

Not much sleep.

On Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th June 2010 a group of adventurous friends will undertake a feat rarely before attempted.  After some vigourous training we will embark on the physical and logistical challenge of climbing the four highest peaks in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and all the driving and sea crossing in between in less than 40 hours.

I will be raising money for the Peace Hospice in Watford, which provides vital on-going support to patients and their families. In the current economic climate, the Peace Hospice has experienced a decline in charitable donations and a failure to raise £3 million in charitable income needed this year will severely impact its future service provision. The Peace Hospice  relies almost entirely on charitable contributions so please give generously to support this fantastic cause.

We provide support at end of life but the majority of our work focuses on supporting those with life-limiting illnesses who have many more years to live. That support includes symptom control, pain relief, companionship, spiritual support and improving the physical wellbeing of patients.
