This page has been set up in memory of Jonathan Fothergill. Anyone who knew him would be aware of how much he loved gardens and nature. Recently some of his happiest times were working with Thrive - a small national charity that uses gardening and horticulture to change the lives of disabled people. Any donation to this important charity would be a fitting tribute to a man we all loved so much. He would have much preferred this to anyone sending flowers.
The money we raise will be put into raw materials such as seeds that Thrive need to create the beautiful spaces that Jon was so fond of. There will be a plaque to commemorate his life. It will be a space where we can all go to think, and to remember.
