My story
Hi welcome to my fundraising page for Bike Bengal 2012.
Bike Bengal 2012 is a charity bicycle ride from Kolkata to Kalimpong, India. Between 19 and 25 February, 13 Volunteers from the UK, Australia & Spain are giving up their personal time and paying for all expenses to cycle about 1000km over 7 days, to raise funds and help Dr. Graham's Homes recover from the disastrous 18/9/11 earthquake (measured 6.8 on the Richter scale) which caused substantial structural damage to the school buildings and Estate. We will cycle daily, camp overnight and, on the final day, encounter a steep climb of some 4,500 ft before arriving at the school. All funds raised will go directly to the Dr Graham's Homes Earthquake Appeal Fund.
