On 20 September 2009 I will be attempting the Great North Run - 13 and a bit miles!!. This will be only my second half marathon and i'm currently busy training for this challenge of body and mind.

I am raising funds for BASIC - The Brain and Spinal Injuy Centre.

BASIC is a specialist resource for people and their families in crisis following a traumatic brain injury or neurological diagnosis. This includes people recovering from severe head injury, brain haemorrhage, brain tumour and otherbrain-related conditions such as stroke and brain cancer. It would be great if you could spare a few pounds or pennies to help the charity!!
