Following our Lakeland Challenge success in 2010, Jon Swarbrigg and myself have decided to take on the John O Groats to Land's End cycle ride for the Wooden Spoon in their "End To End" challenge for 2011. Lorna, Jon's wife has also joined up to make our team of 3.

The challenge is very simple - cycle from the top of the UK to the bottom in 6 days, averaging 150miles per day. The event will take place from 21st - 27th August 2011 and we aim to raise at least £2,700 each for our efforts.

The Wooden Spoon is an outstanding charitable cause which has been providing sporting opportunities for physically, mentally and socially disadvantaged children all over the UK since 1983.
