The Prince's Trust Palace to Palace 2016 · 2 October 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Why am I cycling 45 miles? Well, for a start it's easier than running a marathon. At least I hope it is.

It's also for a fantastic cause. I had the privilege of attending The Prince's Trust 2016 awards earlier this year, and I am not ashamed to say I shed a tear or two. The young people who were honoured that day were an inspiration.

There are plenty more like them across the UK. Young people who need a helping hand to get their lives back on track.

If I had to run just over 26 miles to help the Trust I would. But I have a choice. So I am cycling. The people I want to help often don't have a choice. So help me to help The Prince's Trust help them.

Thank you.
