A colleague was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer in 2014 and given as little as two years to live. I am delighted to say that he has to date defied his earliest prognosis and is still running ultramarathons, inspiring others to enjoy life to the full whilst raising funds and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK. He is currently participating in the Marathon des Sables, a 250km ultramarathon in the Sahara.

To support the cause, raise more funds for this important charity, and try to help ensure that children of today may never have to deal with this indiscriminate disease I, with 60 colleagues, am walking a marathon on 19th May 2017.
