ASSIST works with people in Sheffield who have been refused asylum in the UK. They are evicted from their Home Office accommodation and forced into destitution. We provide our clients with stable, dignified accommodation, regular financial support and a person-centred casework service.

Story

They say it's better to give than to receive. In this case we won't be doing either - but you can!

We'd rather you didn't spend your money on gifts for us. We have a tiny flat, and have been living together for many years; we really do have everything we need (and some stuff we dont). So, we thought it would be great if we could encourage you to donate to ASSIST in celebration of our wedding instead.

ASSIST is a great charity, one which we have both been involved in when we lived in Sheffield and means a lot to us. It helps defend and support desistute asylum seekers in the city.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.

Thanks! Rachel and Jonathan x
