<p>JS and Dr. Matt of 3 Peaks and Mount Kinabalu fame are taking on the South Downs way by mountain bike on the 18th June this year. It might not sound like much, but its 100 miles (160km) cross country with about 4000m of acsent! I have not touched a push bike for 30 years, having always found motor bikes easier. As you can see from the picture, my cycling skills are as good as Matt's golfing ones, but hell, any excuse to put on lycra!</p> <p>We are raisng money for the Sailors Society, and all donations small, and large, are welcome.</p> <p>We will start at 3am on saturday 18th June, and cycle until we finish, no 5 star hotels on route, just blood, sweat and tears.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
