Story
In July 2011 31 Squadron will deploy to Afghanistan in support of our ground troops. As a Squadron we would like to do more for them. In order to achieve this we will be running, cycling or rowing, a distance of 31000 miles, aiming to raise 31,000 pounds for Help for Heroes and tickets for troops.co.uk. This is a difficult but achievable goal and will be undertaken whilst we are serving our country on Operations. Your support, as always, is greatly appreciated. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 28%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. I would also like to mention that I will taking part in the Great North Run half Marathon whilst out in Afghanistan. I will be running the distance along with 49 others from the squadron around the 'ring road' of Kandahar Airforce base on the morning of the 4th September. Apparantly the BBC will be filming it so please get your donations in!! I have never ran a half marathon before so your support and donations would be greatly appreciated.
So please dig deep and donate whatever you can. Thankyou.
