Jonny's Trans-Africa Cycle

Hello,
As you may know some friends and I have been planning to cycle through the heat (and chills) of Africa. If you did not know this it's most probably because i've been terrible at spreading the word around, and have had some trouble pinpointing the charity that i'd love to raise for.
I'm delighted to have found an excellent one; 'The Waterberg Welfare Society'. My Mum's great friend Sophie Neville is actively working in this charity and it was thanks to her that i found it.
The WWS is an organisation dedicated to educating communities about hiv/aids and its transmission, as well as providing support for all those affected, by association or personal suffering. It is based in the Waterberg district of Limpopo Province, South Africa, and is genuinely providing hope and courage to those suffering from the infection.
To learn more about the WWS please visit their website:

I would be so grateful if you could donate to this cause, little or great, everything single bit is appreciated.
In regard to the goals of our trip, we aim to cycle through Namibia, Botswana, Zambia/Zimbabwe and finally arrive at the coast of Mozambique; a distance of 2000 miles if our route proves feasible!
I am in no doubt that it will be tough as we shall have to negotiate the unforgiving African sun, the canny suspicions of the African policemen and the occasional baboon.
I look forward to seeing you all when I'm back,
Much love,
Jonny
