Story

Once upon a time some kind folks were stupid enough to let me move type and photo’s around a page for a living. I used to also play repetitive disco music to drunk people on an evening, some of which they liked, some of which they didn’t. Luckily I used to have big black men to protect me if they really didn’t like the music. I used to like playing music more than the ‘selling your soul’ - sorry, ‘selling ideas’ - way of earning money.

I also used to like sliding down mountains when they were covered in white stuff, usually whilst wearing obscenely baggy ‘pants’. What I didn’t like was being told in July of 2009 that I had terminal lung cancer. Now I like writing about my walks with my dog, the things I see and maybe the odd bit of trying to get stuff off my chest.

About the charity

We are the only UK lung cancer charity dedicated to helping everyone affected by the disease. We fund essential research and provide much needed support, information and advice. We raise awareness and challenge the misconceptions of lung cancer. We do all this so those affected can expect better.
