Hey Everyone,

So not more than a month into my new job at Envision and Saskia, the fundraising manager has cracked the whip and ordered me to get my running shoes on and clock up a few miles in the name of charideeeeeee!!!

Envision is a youth led charity that enables 16-19 year olds to design and deliver their own social and environmental issue projects. Working in over 100 schools across London, Birmingham and Leeds, projects have ranged from sustainable fashion shows to fairtrade documentaries and education workshops for primary schools. The advantage of donating to Envision is every penny enables more young people to be empowered and the number of opportunities increased. For me the greatest thing about this charity is its belief in promoting a positive youth voice and recognising the achievements of young people in their local community. Obviously I am competing for personal pride too and aim to fininish the distance in at least 1 hour 25, injuries allowing. If I raise more than £200 pounds I promise to don my Elmo costume as a special treat for you all??? Anyway any sponsporship money gratefully received as I realise the race is in a matter of weeks.
