Thanks very much to those who ahve sponsored me fot this year's Virgin London Marathon. Unfortunaetly I have bad news. The osteitis that affected me throughout 2009 has not gone away but got steadily worse. I also may face surgery on a foot injury. So reluctantly I have had to withdraw from this year's race. I have referred mt running place to 2011 though and will be back then.

I would hope that you would leave your sponsorship until then. But if you would like a refund then please contact Liz@thelilyfoundation.org.uk She has a list of those people who have sponsored me.

The Lily Foundation has many functions throuhout the year that need your support, though. You can see them at www.thelilyfoundation.org.uk

Sorry, once again if I have let anyone down, but the doctors say I could damage myself permanently if I run this year.

Thanks

Jonathan
