Well I survived the run!  It was a lovely day as you all know, but not ideal weather for a 10k race.  Started off a little too quickly and had to slow down after a few k, as the heat was really intense.  By the time I was on my 2 lap of the course, running had become really hard work; I could see quite a few people suffering from the heat.  Still, I managed to keep on running without walking, but it was definitely nice to chuck some water over myself at the water stations! J  It was very good to see the finish line, and I managed a sprint finish somehow-that was fun!  Felt great once I’d finished-even better when I was able to get home and have a cold shower! :-D

I finished with a time of 57minutes and 58 seconds. J
