Story

Did you know -

In a village far away

The Gambia Horse & Donkey Trust

Have settled there to stay.

They tend to the ponies

Horse and Donkey too

I can't begin to tell you

Just how much they do.

They have so very little

It humbles me to say

It's not a land of lush and wealth

So here's the part I play..

I've been out to the village

I know what it's about

They cure the sick and wounded

And I want to help them out.

Shall I do a fun run?

Sit in baked beans 'til I'm numb

No - think I'll climb a mountain

Look out Snowdon, here I come!

No sooner had I said it

And wondered what I'd done

When all my friends have rallied

And said they want to come

We have started all the training

The date is June the twelth

Help us raise the cash we need

To save a horse's health

When we reach the summit

We'll reflect on what we've done

This trust can go on thriving

For many years to come.

A big thank you to Duncan

Who's coming with us too

Stella's School Scheme benefits

And all because of you..

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
