We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Everyone probably knows at least one person who has suffered from Cancer.  It is a horrible disease that has taken many a family member or friend away often at the prime of their lives.  It is an indiscriminate disease that affects people of all ages and backgrounds and does not care if you are a good or bad person.  I have lost a lot of family members and friends to this disease so I also know first hand the suffering that those affected by cancer go through and the pain and heartache that is felt by there family.

Whilst the treatments are advancing all of the time there remains no universal cure for cancer and I have seen people go through the pain of treatment never to be cured so I would like to do my bit to help.

This is not a bond place that requires me to raise money to earn my place in the race - I am going to complete the race regardless and have paid my own entry fee.  What that means is that apart from any Just Giving fees all of the money raised will go to Cancer Research and none of it will be syphoned off into the pockets of the race organisers.  Every penny will help so if that is all you can afford to spare it will be as graciously received as the next guy who coughs up a tenner.

More information on the race can be found here - http://www.ratracemanvsmountain.com/

Thank you for your support.
