Well I have arrived in Paris from Rome! It has been an amazing journey through rain, hail, snow and howling wind. It has been hard work but great fun.

Survived a high speed crash yesterday, as the peleton collapsed in front of me and I took off over them all, landing upside down in the road with my bike still attached to me, having completed a small but perfect somersault in mid air! Nothing broken, but a few aches and pains.
We head towards London today and then to Wales, the Ireland then Scotland- 2888km in total, we hit the half way point later today. Body weary, but in good spirits.

However, this ride is for a number of great causes, one being DebRA,  a charity for kids suffering from the  genetic skin blistering condition Epidermolysis Bullosa. It is a horrendous disease and we are hoping that some of the money raised will help find a cure for this terrible disease. Please see the below link

I only ask for a small amount of your time and generosity - both of which can change people lives.

Come on guys, make the effort and please please give generously.

thanks

As I look out of the window and try and summon up the energy to go for my final  training ride, I am starting to question why I agreed to take part in this ridiculous challenge.

Still I am and it is a modest 2888km starting this Friday 12th February- oh and  with freezing rain, ice and wind. Sounds fun. Well there are two things you can do

1) tell me I am a big girls blouse and it’s easy - and then you should come and cycle the whole thing with me

or

2) Sponsor me!

Trust me, the second option is the easiest.

The charities are ones I personally feel very strongly about; Cancer Research and Help For Heroes both via Sport Relief.

Please do what you can and give generously

Thanks

Jonny
