Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Jordan. I am 13 years old and although I was not born in Zimbabwe, my mom and her family were. I have only been there once, when I was 1.5 years old, so I can't really remember it, but I feel a strong connection to the place. Everytime I have an opportunity to make a wish (blowing out birthday candles, breaking the chicken wishbones) I wish that Zimbabwe will one day be a better, more peaceful place for everyone to live in.

Since September I have been trying to raise some money by selling teas and coffees every Saturday morning on a nearby football field. It's been a bit slow recently as there has been so much rain and ice, so not a lot of football has been going on. I've also raised money at school by selling doughnuts and hot chocolate. I've set up this page to help me push my target donation up.
