Last Saturday I ran 5 miles in the pouring rain in Richmond Park. I was one of the youngest boys to run the full 5 mile course, and my dad ran it too. You can see the pictures of me and him, I think he looks more tired than me! My mum and sister ran 3 miles too!
Thank you all for supporting me, I don't know how much we have raised yet but Neville Chapman our old headmaster and head of Rwanda Aid was very pleased as you can see in the photo. He says we will have enough money to turn on the electricity and build 2 new classrooms!

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
My school, Kings House, have a special relationship with a school with the same name in Cyato in Rwanda. Our old Headmaster now lives in Rwanda and he runs the charity Rwanda Aid. Our teachers go there to help train the Rwandan teachers and we have raised money to buy books and materials in the past. Now we have a really big idea... we want to raise enough money to electrify the school! If my friends and I can raise £1000 we can connect the school to electricity and pay the bills for 2 months, £4000 connects them and pays the bills for the first year, £5000 and we can do all of that and buy them a generator to keep the lights on if there is a power cut!
We are going to raise the money by running enough miles to get us to Rwanda.... that's 4500 miles!! If we raise just about £1 and a bit a mile we will have enough!!!
I hope you can support me as I Charge my Trainers for a run round Richmond Park....
Thanks
Joseph (age 8)
