On Sunday the 6th September 2009, I will be taking part in the Bristol Half Marathon. I am taking part in this especially to raise money for a charity that is very close to my heart, Weston Hospice Care.
Weston Hospice is a charity that is very much in need of money as it purely relies on donations made from the public. This particular charity is important to me as my Grandad was diagnosed with lung cancer around 6 months ago, and this particular organisation are going to be supporting and looking after him, as well as his family. They can only continue to keep helping people such as my Grandad with support from you, and the rest of the public, and I am really hoping the the money I can raise will make a significent difference to this cause.
So taking all this into account, I would be extremely grateful if you could make a donation towards this event, and hopefully I can achieve my target of £600, or hopefully exeed this!
I am aiming to complete the half marathon, which is 13.1 miles, in 1 hour 35 minutes, so hopefully with your support I can do this (:
