WaterAid is an international non-profit with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity.

Story

Around the world, 1 in 10 people don't have access to safe water. Every day 800 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. WaterAid is saving and transforming people's lives with clean water.

In August, I'll be joining 99 HSBC colleagues on a 100km trek in the Arctic Circle in Greenland to raise funds. Entirely self-funded, we'll be hiking for five days, carrying our own equipment and camping out in one of world's least populated territories.

I'm trying to raise at least £3,000 in sponsorship, which will help provide safe water for 136 people. Please give what you can.

With thanks for your support, Joe
