This summer I will be going to Uganda from the 23rd July - 11th September to work with a charity called East African Playgrounds. This is a small, localised charity who build playgrounds for communities in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania.
I will be working in a town called Masaka, which has a population of 30,000 people and is south-west of the capital, Kampala. The total cost of the trip will be £2000, £600 of which will be used directly to buy the materials to build the playground.
In order to fundraise this amount, I will be walking the Great Glen Way with a small group of friends from the 14th - 18th May. This involves walking between Fort William and Inverness, a total of 76 miles over 4 days, whilst camping inbetween.
Please give generously and help me to work in Uganda!
