At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 14th June I will be running the Hull 10k to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Society.

This charity is extremely important to me for the help and support they provided to my family during my Granddad's illness. Although he passed in 2013,  we had lost the true person he was to Dementia a number of years prior.

For those of you who know me well, you will understand that despite Netball being a big part of my life, I struggle MASSIVELY with long distance running or any distance greater than the semi circle on the netball court...to which I conveniently often blame on my reconstructed knee!!! I'm not aiming for a time, just to not stop and not keel over!

This is not only a big fitness challenge for me but it will also test my mental strength and hopefully will inspire you to donate and provide me with some much needed motivation!

Thanks again :) xxx
