<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>We did it!!&nbsp;We completed the London to Brighton.</p> <p>Fortunately the rain stayed away.&nbsp; The team did get split up very early on. I cycled the 54 miles with my good friend Carol. It was quite slow getting out of London. Carol and I could not believe we were taking over many cyclist on the roads, most younger than us, so the training paid off. Many took over us of course!!</p> <p>We finished in under 6 hours which we were really very pleased with. I had visions of it taking us all day!!&nbsp; It was hard going and we did have to dig really deep on some of the hills.&nbsp; The Beacon beat us, as well as 90% of all cyclist who took part!!&nbsp; It was really tough pushing the bike up!!</p> <p>Thank you so much for sponsoring me.
