Story

In 2005, GVI Phoenix started working in a small school in San Rafael, Honduras, in the mountains surrounding Copán. Recently, they have expanded into Barbasco aswell, providing extra teachers, food and fruit for the children, who share classrooms and teachers across all grades. In 2008, GVI started another secondary school in San Rafael, paying for teachers to give secondary education, which was impossible before. Now they have 100 children enrolled, from five different communities.
