Brighton Marathon 2018 · 15 April 2018 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Hi guy and girls,

Me and my brother Brad Harris have decided that I will be running the Brighton Marathon in April 2018 to raise money for the MS society.

As a lot of you know our Dad, Lee Harris was unfortunately diagnosed with a rare spinal condition called Divics disease back in 2008, this disease comes under the Multiple Sclerosis family. In simple terms this nasty disease attacks the nervous system and effects our dads mobility aswell as other side affects. He is very lucky that he still has use of his legs and we hope this last the rest of his life, however nobody can call that. Our dad will never get better we all know and have accepted that. But what we hope can happen is research in to stopping him and so many others like him getting worse.
We are very proud of our old man, he takes everyday as it comes and although he has obtained this horrible disease he knows he’s lucky and that things could always be worse. We both just want to give a little something back to him.

All money raised will be going to the MS Society. No donation is to small. Many thanks in advance.

Joshua Harris
