The three Calthorpe boys, ages 12, 17 and too old to mention, are going to complete the 140 mile Coast-to-Coast bike ride between Whitehaven and Sunderland, over 4 days from 21 to 25 July.
We aim to raise as much money as we can for Grove House Hospice in St Albans.
All this is in memory of Rosemary Calthorpe, much loved and missed mother, daughter, sister, wife and friend. In 2006 she and Dad were going to walk Coast-to-Coast between Fort William and Inverness, but the chemo took over and gave her incredibly sore feet, so cycling was the only option. They raised £12,000 for Cancer charities.
We hope to raise a large amount of money for a charity that helped my Mum throughout her illness. Please be as generous as you can.
