Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. 

We are urgently raising money for Sparkles, which is an entirely, parent-led charity that provides specialist speech and language therapy for children with Down's Syndrome.  Speech development is often the most delayed development in children with DS and yet it is the key to their future.  The NHS provision has sadly reduced to barely visible levels so this is George's only means of learning to communicate!

We are so lucky because through Sparkles we have speech and language therapy once a week.  George absolutely loves it and  has already benefited hugely, now confidently saying, 'More!' at the dinner table!!

I enjoy it too, because it means I get to meet mums in a similar situation and I get to see their beautiful children progressing with mine.  Without it, I wouldn't know where to start, I would feel quite isolated and I wouldn't be hearing my gorgeous little boy say his proud little sounds/words which just make my heart sing.

We know that times are hard so please just give what you can - and give our children the gift of speech.
