Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
During the Summer of 2011, I was lucky to have an internship based in Nairobi and even luckier to form a connection with the Xavier Project (XP) while I was out there. I met some truly remarkable people who are working to provide an education to local and refugee children (Congolese, Somalian, Sudanese) who have fled to Uganda and Kenya. XP is a charity which offers hope and achievable prospects for these children and their communities.
I am running the Nottingham Half Marathon on Sunday 30 September for the XP Ugandan Education Fund. My goal is to raise at least £1,000. This will enable one child to have two years of continuous secondary education which will greatly enhance their life and chance of having a better future.
