TH & HSC's London to Paris jaunt (on bikes)

THE OFFICE TO OFFICE TOUR - London to Paris · 23 October 2013
Juan's story:
So, our magenta printer ink is running low and in a bid to cut our stationery bill, we've decided to cycle to the Paris office to pinch one of theirs.
This may be what Mr Shrive was calling diseconomies of scale all of those years back in Economics; especially when you consider the catastrophic ebay purchasing of several tired bicycles and an assortment of desperately chosen accessories that we misguidedly think will help get our overweight bodies across the channel and over to Paris.
That and a fairly hefty alcohol bill, ferry costs, hotels and first class tickets for the Eurostar home (we're not animals).
This year, we want to give something back to Great Ormond Street Hospital. It's a great hospital which needs a lot of help. So, please find something to help a great cause, and to give us an incentive to get up over the next however many weekdays and weekends and try and get in to a state where we won't all suffer a stroke on our 300 mile foray to the Continent.
