St Andrew's Hospice provides specialist palliative care services - the total care of patients with progressive disease and limited prognosis - and is open to all, without distinction of race, gender, or creed. It is Lanarkshire's only Hospice and provides multidisciplinary support for patients, their families, and carers.

Judy Hale is taking up the challenge to take part in the St Andrew's Hospice Ladies 6K Road Race round Strathclyde Park on 18th April 2010. This is Judy's first ever charity race, in fact she has never run or jogged before and is 61yrs old this year. So the training has already started in ernest with brisk walks being order of the day after the doctor's OK!
