She cared passionately about the work of the North West Eye Programme (NWEP)&nbsp;and after her untimely death a Memorial Scholarship Fund was set up in her name.</p> <p>The fund will allow optometry students to work as part of the NWEP and gain experience in the provision of eyecare to some of the most needy people in the country.</p> <p>Judy would be immensely proud and thrilled&nbsp;if she knew that, arising from her very sad and early death, optometry students would experience the joy and fulfilment from providing eye care to otherwise impoverished people.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
