I have lost loved ones to cancer but others have survived and thrived due to the ongoing improvements in treatment. These treatments have been improved, survival rates improved and the unfortunate side effects of treatment reduced because of ongoing research. This is why Cancer Research is one of the charities that I have always supported when I could.
