<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">On <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Sunday 5<sup>th</sup> June 2011</strong>, my mum and I, are taking part in a <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">5 mile walk</strong> around the village of <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Liss</strong><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">, Hampshire</strong>. We’re looking raise funds to help fight Liver Disease. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">The walk is part of a major fund-raising event called ‘MAGStock’, which has been organised by my mum and dad’s next door neighbour, Gordon Dunse. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Over 200 people have already signed up to take part! </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Gordon’s wife Margaret lived with liver disease (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis) for 16 years. Last year she developed Cancer of the Bile Duct, (Cholangiocarcinoma), and sadly she died within 6 weeks of the diagnosis. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">I grew up with Gordon, Margaret and their children, living next door and naturally am keen to do all I can to support this worthy cause. </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">The British Liver Trust has agreed to ring-fence all the funds raised to support research into early diagnosis. </span></span></strong></p>
