My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page which I have set up in memory of a wonderful man - my father - Brian.

As many of you know, he died very suddenly in October after suffering a stroke, aged only 68. My father was entirely selfless and, during his life, worked tirelessly for charity, voluntary organisations and individuals in need.

I hope to carry on his legacy, starting with a visit to Malawi later this month to volunteer in an orphanage. 'Open Arms' is a charity registered in the UK, USA and Africa and does tremendous work with some of Malawi's many orphaned children. Where possible, they return to live with their extended families and communities and where this is not possible they remain in one of Open Arm's Foster houses where they are educated and cared for in every respect.

Morris is one of those foster children, shown with clothes and football sent from the UK. He lives there along with his twin sister, Emmie, and many other children like him. Let's make sure that Morris and his friends smile even more...

You can find out more about Open Arms and the tremendously good work they do at www.openarmsmalawi.org

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
