We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Hi Friends of  Zoe, Helen, Sue and Nicola,... Jodi, Nichola, Andrea,... Julia, Lisa, Erin, Amanda, Judy,.... Second Wednesday Crafternoons, the Love, Sex and Intimacy Fair and the Big Beach Cafe!:)

Help us to beat breast cancer with bras and body paint!:P

Thank you for visiting our online fundraising page in support of breast cancer research. Please dig deep and sponsor us – it’s quick, easy and totally secure.

We have several ways you may like to help us raise money...

Second Wednesday Crafternoon's inaugural meeting has been hi-jacked!

We are getting together with wonderful craftiness to up-cycle our bras into something burlesque-tastic and (as we are prone to do) had wonderful ideas flying in every direction when Andrea pointed out it would be a wonderful event for Breast Cancer Awareness...and then it turned out to be the perfect month for it too!:P

Come along, join in, raise funds with us at our event in Hove at The Big Beach Cafe on the 9th of October, come to up-cycle your bra, donate or buy cookies, enter the sweepstake or just pop a donation in the box:D

If you can't make it along to the Big Beach Cafe you could always just add to the wonderful pile of on-line donations right here right now!:P

The finished bras will be on display at the Love,Sex and Intimacy Fair and donations will be accepted there:D

Sponsor a Body Painting!

JuliaArts Julia if offering her time for free...so please support and sponsor her efforts by making a donation on this page...

It's a brave enough thing for most of us to reveal our bodies in front of others, let alone in a public, awareness raising way...Let alone, again, if you have had to, or are, coming to terms with the changes cancer has brought to your body.

Zoe, Helen, Sue and Nicola are very bravely stripping off to be painted and photographed! ...Zoe's blog about her breast cancer treatments, mastectomy and and reconstructive surgery in July this year tells a bit about her story so far...Please help Zoe, Helen, Sue and Nicola to help others to fight cancer as well, by sponsoring this part of their stories as generously as you can:D

And/Or you can sponsor Jodi Hall Photography!  and Nichola Salvato. Jodi and Nichola will be giving their time in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and recording this part of the Story and helping us create beautiful pictures of the body painingt.

There are little whisperings that we may have extra wonderfulness to add to this page soon...we'll keep you up dated:D x

Cancer Research UK is funded entirely by amazing supporters like you. By sponsoring us you can help more people survive breast cancer. Every pound you donate really does make a difference to Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating breast cancer – so please sponsor me now!

Gift Aid it! If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.

Together we will beat cancer.
