We did it! An amazing adventure that will remain with me for the rest of my life and a fitting tribute to Derek and my Mum who without doubt were with us throughout the trip. It will be something I and John will hold dear to our hearts for the rest of our lives and I feel truly honoured to have been given the opportunity to have fulfilled an ambition which seemed madness in it's creation by a joy to complete.
A massive thank you to everyone who has supported me in this adventure especially my family without whom I could not have undertaken this challenge. I also thank the many people who have given donations in memory of Derek and my Mum especially my friends and collegues at BLB Solicitors who were both generous in praise but also in donation.
