We're walking 13.3 miles on 12th May 2016 from Co-op support Centre, 1 Angel Square in Manchester to the Rochdale Pioneers Museum in Rochdale

Loneliness is indiscriminate - it affects people of all ages and backgrounds and can be found in all types ofcommunities. It can lead to a sense of despair, and emotional and mental health problems such asdepression and anxiety. In fact, it’s reported to be twice as bad for our health as obesity.

Together the Co-operative and British Red Cross will deliver radical and lasting change to support thoseexperiencing loneliness across the UK. Together, we will provide vital support to the lonely and isolated,reconnecting them to their communities and providing life changing care in their homes.
