Story

********** UPDATE ***********

MISSION SUCCESS!

Feet only very slightly charred!  (See photos)

No, it wasn't a trick, we really did walk on coals hotter than 1000'F.

Please please please consider validating the pain by donating to this very worthy local charity.  :)

How do!  :)

Well, I'm 40 this year, and a mug.

Some people decide to go travel the world for their 40th or do other sensible things.  Others behave like they're losing their sanity and do weird stuff.

If you know me, you'll know I'll have opted for the later, and have decided to raise some money for a good local cause at the same time.

So, on the 4th May 2010, I'm going to do a Sponsored Firewalk (yes you read that right) at the University of Derby, Kedlestone Road, Derby at 7:30pm to raise money for Derbyshire Association for the Blind.

Yes I'm scared, yes I dare say it'll hurt, yes I'm probably crazy, and yes I'm still determined to do it.

So... if you feel even an ounce of pity for me, please consider sponsoring me and making a donation.

Follow my progress on the day on twitter, or check for updates on a dedicated event and fan page on facebook.

Thank for your time (and hopefully, for some your money)  :)
