<p>All money raised on this page will go directly to the local Conwy & Denbighshire Autistic Society Group. Thus insuring that our Local Children & their families benefit from funds raised. <p>Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with, and relates to, other people and the world around them.</p>
<p>It is a spectrum condition, which means that, while all people with autism share certain areas of difficulty, their condition will affect them in different ways. Asperger syndrome is a form of autism.</p>
<p>I am a mother of a child with Asperger syndrome so fully understand how difficult it can be for a child on the autistic spectrum to be accepted within other childrens social groups in their community. Creating the opportunties to do so within environments that are friendly and welcoming for them as individuals in their own right with respect, is a positive experience that they can learn from over time. Helping them to overcome social barriers within their peer groups, create friendships and assist them to reach their individual potential.</p>
<p>From time to time there will also be fundraising events that I will be involved with in order to help with my target throughout the year. So please feel free to email myself to find out more information.</p>
